Finse Oy Targets Significant Business Growth in International Markets

Finse Oy has launched a development project aimed at strengthening the company’s capabilities for internationalization and preparing for a substantial expansion of its global business operations.

The goal of the project is to leverage automation and robotics to create new business opportunities and new jobs, as well as to construct new production facilities and significantly expand operations.

The company specializes in the design and manufacturing of tube assemblies for machinery manufacturers. The domestic market no longer enables business growth, which is why Finse is now seeking new growth opportunities in the Central European market. The objective is to increase the share of international business from the current 10 percent to 40 percent within three years. As turnover grows, the number of employees is expected to increase from the current 45 to approximately 65.

During the development project, a market analysis of Central Europe will be conducted, and a business model supporting the new international business will be created. This model will outline how to operate in new target markets and how the company’s service offering should be introduced internationally. Additionally, development needs related to service products and production methods will be identified.

As part of the project, the company will also make a new facility investment adjacent to its current premises in Lievestuore, Laukaa. Business growth requires the introduction of new production technologies. The project includes investments in new robotic laser cells as well as automated tube and sheet metal processing machines to modernize production methods.

The long-term impacts of the project will include increased company turnover, a higher share of international business, and the creation of new jobs.

The development project is co-funded by the European Union. The “International Growth Development Project” began on 1 June 2025 and will continue until 31 May 2027.
