Veekmas Ltd is a Finnish manufacturer of motor graders for road maintenance and mining, based in Kitee in North Karelia. For around twenty years, Finse has supplied custom stainless-steel piping for Veekmas machines.
Founded in 1982, Veekmas is the only motor grader manufacturer in the Nordic countries. The cooperation began when Veekmas needed a partner in its supply chain that could manufacture bent stainless steel tubes and deliver them straight to its assembly line. Being a European supplier was one of the reasons Veekmas chose Finse, and Finse's references from globally recognised OEM customers spoke for themselves.
Over the years the cooperation has become well established, and its cornerstones have been quality and reliable delivery schedules. For Veekmas, Finse is a flexible and customer-focused supplier. Meeting the agreed delivery dates matters a great deal, because if the ordered tubes do not arrive on time, the Veekmas production line comes to a stop.
Finse supplies exhaust pipes, charge air pipes, coolant pipes and intake air pipes for all Veekmas motor graders. The piping is manufactured at the Finse factory in Lievestuore according to Veekmas drawings.
